Rose Marie Tumm, age 80, of New Egypt passed away Tuesday, May 3 at her home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she moved to New Egypt in April of 1960. Rose Marie worked at McGuire AFB from April 1961 until she retired in April 1988. She was a parishioner at the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt and she loved to knit and crochet afghans. Rose Marie was predeceased by her parents, Charles J. and Rose F. (Bauer) Tumm. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Tumm of New Egypt and two cousins, Charles Bauer, Jr. and wife Diane of New Egypt and Paul Bauer and wife Jill of Cresco, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Marie will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption Chapel, 76 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery in New Egypt. There will be no calling hours.
