Obituary of Margaret H. Inman

Margaret “Peg” Helen Inman, age 89, of New Egypt passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2016. Born in Cream Ridge to the late Charles and Edna Nutt (Lewis) Peg spent her earlier years there before she married John at age 22 and they moved to New Egypt. She worked as a seamstress for many years and enjoyed sewing and teaching others the basics. Peg also worked at the Plumsted Pharmacy for a number of years. She was a member of the Plumsted Presbyterian Church, the Woman’s Auxiliary at the New Egypt Fire Company, and the New Egypt Historical Society. Peg was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.
Peg is predeceased by her parents, her husband John Inman and 3 siblings. She leaves behind her 2 sons, John Inman and wife Evelyn of Cookstown, Brian Inman and wife Teri of New Egypt; her daughter Linda Field and husband J.C. of Allentown; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin Inman, Megan Field, Melissa Field, Marcy and Leo Kelly, Eric and Dawn Crawbuck; 6 great-grandchildren, Erin, Elizabeth, Leo, Sydney, Christian and Penelope; her brother Bernard and his wife Evelyn; her brother-in-law Robert Inman and his wife Mary; cousin Becky Grant; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6PM to 8PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533 (TilghmanFH.com). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11AM at the Plumsted Presbyterian Church with a viewing from 10AM to 11AM. Interment will follow the service at Cream Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Peg’s memory to either the Plumsted Presbyterian Church: 14 Front St, New Egypt, NJ 08533 or to the New Egypt Fire Company, P. O. Box 177, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
