Kau Ip, age 87, of Cookstown passed away Friday, December 25 at his residence. Born in Canton, China he was a resident of Cookstown since 1979. Mr. Ip was a self-employed farmer.
He was predeceased by his wife Tai Ho Ip in 2000. He is survived by three sons, Wai Keung Yip, Wai Hung Yip and Wai Ming Yip all of Cookstown
Graveside services for Mr. Ip will be held on Saturday, January 2 at 11:30 AM at the Jacobstown Cemetery on Schoolhouse Road in Jacobstown under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
