Obituary of Warren H. Byrne

Warren H. “Chuck” Byrne, 66, of Browns Mills passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden. He was born September 16th, 1949 at the U.S. Navy Auxiliary Air Station on Chincoteague Island, Virginia. After graduating from Allentown High School in 1967, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Chuck served in the Vietnam War during which he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. His hobbies included hunting with friends, especially Art Hughes and Carl Vitale, Sr. He greatly enjoyed fishing and riding quads with his grandson. He had a great passion for cars of all types, but enjoyed discussing Jeep parts with his buddy John Salvaggio and attending car shows. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and card games with the Vitale family. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Chuck is predeceased by his parents Warren Hilary Byrne and Aileen (Grant) Moore, as well as his sister Tina Marie Byrne.
He leaves behind his son, Jeffrey Byrne of Browns Mills; two daughters, Julie Lucas of Lumberton and Randi Byrne of Marlton; his grandson Nathaniel Lucas; sister Kathy Meadows and husband Jack Meadows of Pulaski, Virginia; brother Tim Byrne and wife Danalyn of Cream Ridge; nieces Kaci and Carly Byrne and nephew Ro Dickerson and wife Alicia.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 for a funeral service at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery beginning at 1:30PM. If attending the funeral we ask that you please meet at 12:45PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533 for the funeral procession.
