Norman J. Jones, age 65, of Wrightstown passed away Wednesday, October 14 at home. Born in Paincourtville, LA, he was a longtime resident of the Wrightstown area. Norman served in the US Army from 1974 to 1985. He was employed as a chef at the Chesterfield Inn in Chesterfield Twp. and was a member of the New Life Assembly Church in Wrightstown. Norman was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Jones. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sherri Bailey; four children, Norman Jones, Jr. of Wrightstown, Norma Jean Jones of Pemberton, Octavia Bailey of Wildwood and Patricia Jones of Louisiana; his mother, Anna Marie Jones of Louisiana and five grandchildren. Funeral services for Norman will be held on Friday, October 23 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Assembly Church, 131 E. Main Street, Wrightstown, NJ 08562 with Pastor Brian Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening, October 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
