Maria Refugio Guillen, 72, of Wrightstown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Mexico, Maria spent her early adult years there before coming to the United States in 1973. She was very family oriented and would open her heart to anyone in need of love and support. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Maria is predeceased by her parents Jesus Zuniga and Consuelo Suarez and her brother Irineo Zuniga Suarez. She leaves behind her loving husband of over 50 years, Miguel Guillen; her three sons, Miguel Guillen and wife Angela, Jesus Guillen and Ramon Zuniga; her six daughters, Hernestina Mendoza and husband Antonio, Anita Salgado and husband Rafael, Refugio Guillen and husband Alfonso Medina, Isabel Lueza and husband Patricio, Consuelo Cruz and husband Miguel and Guadalupe Ibarra and husband Carlos; seven siblings, Porfiria Walle, Juventino Zuniga, Consuelo Zuniga, Maria Zuniga, Soccoro Zuniga, Guadalupe Chaves and Hilberto Zuniga, as well as twenty grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (TilghmanFH.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at St. Ann’s Church in Browns Mills. Burial will follow at The Church of Assumption Cemetery in New Egypt.
