William L. Emmons, Sr., age 60, of Wrightstown passed away Sunday, May 3 at Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills. Born in Mt. Holly, he was a lifetime area resident. Bill served in the US Army from 1977-1979. He worked in food service at Fort Dix and also drove a taxi for United Taxi in Wrightstown. Bill was predeceased by his father, Paul D. Emmons, Sr. and his brother, Paul D. Emmons, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Hesley) Emmons; his mother, Agnes (Lizer) Emmons; a son, William Emmons, Jr. and wife Krissy and a grandson, Logan W. Emmons. Bill is also survived by a host of friends and other relatives. Funeral services and burial for Bill will be held on Friday, May 15, 11:30 AM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown. Those going to the service should meet at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt at 11:00 AM to drive to the cemetery in procession.
