Obituary of Dorothy M. Walton

Dorothy M. Walton, age 74, of New Egypt died Monday, May 14 at her residence. Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she had been a resident of New Egypt since 1963 and previously of Mercerville. Wife of the late Ralph E. Walton, Jr. and grandmother of the late John Edward Walton, she is survived by four sons, Jerry Hallman & wife Ning of Washington, Kenneth Latham & wife Ann of Hamilton, Norman Latham & wife Laurie of Hamilton and Ralph Walton III of Grapevine, TX; a daughter, Barbara Farley & husband Donald of De Witt, Iowa; two brothers and a sister, Herman Sanford, Doyle Sanford and Loyle Aultman all of Alabama; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Interment will be in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
