Mathilde E. Moore, age 82, of New Egypt passed away Sunday, February 22 at Virtua Health & Rehab Center in Lumberton. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, she was an area resident since 1957. Mathilde was a floral designer when she lived in Germany. She also was a faithful parishioner of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt and was an honorary member of the Altar Rosary Society. Mathilde was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Mathilde (Schermer) Arend. She is survived by her husband Charles Moore. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mathilde will be held on Wednesday, February 25 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption Chapel, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt with Father Anthony Carotenuto officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mathilde's memory may be made to the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533 or to EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210.
