Steve Korneluk, age 80, of New Egypt passed away Tuesday, January 27 at Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills. Born in Cookstown, he was a lifetime area resident. Steve retired from Princeton Nurseries in Allentown and before that he was a long time employee of the New Egypt Agway. He was a life member of the New Egypt Elks Lodge No. 2457. Steve enjoyed taking care of his yard and working in his garden. He was a “Farmer by Heart”. Steve is survived by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine “Gerry” (South) Korneluk; three children, Cathy Kane and husband Frank of Bordentown, Tammie Giovanni of Bayville and Steve Korneluk, Jr. and wife Lisa of North Hanover Twp.; four grandchildren, Alexis Kane, Rory Giovanni, Brandon Korneluk and Taylor Korneluk; many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Dennis Drone and wife Lucy of Lumberton and many great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services for Steve will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 12 :00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow in Jacobstown Cemetery.
