Lucinda Worgess, age 89, of Pemberton passed away Friday, January 9 with her children at her side at Aspen Hills Healthcare in Pemberton. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was a resident of Pemberton for the past two years and previously was a long time resident of Mount Holly. Lucinda had worked as a cook at Sacred Heart Church in Mount Holly. She loved to knit and crochet, enjoyed music and dancing and she liked to read, play bingo and was a great cook. Lucinda was predeceased by her parents, Guiseppe and Lucinda Estero; her husband, Earl J. Worgess and by two siblings, Anthony Estero and Anne Estero. She is survived by four children, Dorothy Collura and husband William of Southampton, Lucinda Cline and husband Joseph of Browns Mills, Earl C. Worgess and wife Judith of Pemberton and Joseph Worgess of Mount Holly; four siblings, Guiseppe Estero of North Las Vegas, NV and Elena Corewyn, Charles Estero and Rose Murray all of Scotland; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Lucinda will be held on Monday, January 19 at 3:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Monday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lucinda’s memory may be made to Children’s Home of Mt.
