Dorothy A. (nee Goff) Search, age 86, of New Egypt passed away Thursday, January 8 at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice Center in Mt. Holly surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bordentown, she was a lifetime New Egypt and Cream Ridge area resident. Dot was devoted to her family, raising her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and also worked all her life on the family farm, “The Big Way Farm” in Cream Ridge. Her birthday parties were always a highlight of the year for her with all her family there to celebrate with her. Dot was predeceased by her husband, James H. Search in 1976 and by two brothers, George and Harold “Brother” Goff and by her parents, Harry and Mabel (Harker) Goff. She is survived by five children, William Search and wife JoAnn of Cream Ridge, James Search and wife Leslie of Cream Ridge, Molly Lou Jackson of Sanford, FL, Darlene Young and husband Richard of New Egypt and Richard Search and wife Debbie of New Egypt; thirteen grandchildren, Brett Search and wife Tina, Jason Search and partner Matt Mayfield, Michael Search and wife Lorie, Jimmy Search, Dean Search, Luke Search, Scott Jackson and wife Joely, Amy Forshee and husband Bob, Melissa Powell and husband Leigh, Danielle Curnow and husband Christopher, Shannon Young and companion William Stillwell, Kelle Search and fiancé Kyle Rhodes and Jennifer Search; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Dot will be held on Wednesday, January 14 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Tuesday evening, January 13 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
