John J. Dombroski, age 75, of New Egypt, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at home. Born and raised in Trenton, he moved to New Egypt 39 years ago. John was a Firefighter for the City of Trenton, after his retirement he worked as a self employed mason and carpenter. He was a member of the Central Jersey Hot Rod Club and The Charioteers of Trenton. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret Dombroski, John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley (McCormick) Dombroski, his son Frank and his wife Maryann of Franklinville; his daughters, Janet Dombroski of Stanley, VA; Susan and her husband James Rodriguez of New Egypt; and Joan and her husband Gary Alloway of Manchester. Also surviving are his brother Frank Kenneth Dombroski of Hamilton; his sister Karen Dombroski of Yardville; his 11 grandchildren, Melissa, Albert, John, Stephanie, Vincent, Nicholas, Jacob, Samantha, Jamie, Gary Jr., and Mercy; and his 9 great grandchildren, Hayley, Madison, Delani, Reaghan, Timmy, Connor, Shyanne, Aiden, and Zachary. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 9:30am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Trenton, NJ.
