Bishop Wayne Rader, age 70, of New Egypt passed away Sunday, September 7 at home. Born in Mount Holly, he was a lifetime area resident. Wayne was retired from the Ocean County Road Department working out of the Jackson Garage. He was an avid hunter and a life member of the South Branch Gun Club in Woodmansie, NJ. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Llewellyn and Bertha (Parker) Rader and by his brother, Frederick “Butch” Rader. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tim Rader and Marilyn Stelljes of Wrightstown and two grandchildren, Nicholas Rader who is in the Marine Corps serving in Afghanistan and Raeanne Katherine Rader of Wrightstown. Funeral services for Wayne will be held on Friday, September 12 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
