Elisha Cooper, age 57, of Vineland, NJ died Saturday, August 2 at Lincoln Care Center in Vineland. Born in Middleton, CT, he lived in Franklinville and Minotola, NJ before moving to Vineland a short time ago. Elisha was a self-employed seal coating contractor. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Tillie Cooper. Elisha is survived by his longtime companion, Judy Bekdemir of Minotola; his brother , Rev. James Cooper and wife Pearl of Franklinville; a sister, Tillie Cooper of Cortland, NY and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Elisha will be held on Thursday, August 7 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown, NJ. Calling hours will be on Wednesday evening, August 6 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
