Debbie Briggs, 61, of Cookstown, passed away Friday Jan. 10, 2014 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Mattoon, IL, she was a longtime resident of Cookstown. Debbie enjoyed spending summer weekends on the beach in LBI, where she would relax and read for hours. She loved to shop, but most important to her was being with her family and friends. Debbie was predeceased by her husband Jeffrey in 1990. She is survived by her parents James and Marjorie Ghiglione, of WA; a son Jesse (Mayedel San Jose) Briggs of Texas; a daughter Amy Briggs of Cookstown; and a sister Toni Sollars of Arizona. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday January 18, 2014 from 11am – 1pm with a service at 12noon at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ 08533.
