Virginia Moschera, age 88, of New Egypt died Tuesday, January 30 at Hamilton Continuing Care in Hamilton Twp. Born in Bloomfield, NJ to Charles and Mary Carnazza, Virginia was raised in Verona and moved to New Egypt in 1937, where she resided for 69 years. Predeceased by her parents; a sister, Josephine Orlando; her loving husband, August ?Augie? Moschera; and her son, Jackie Moschera. She is survived by a brother, Vincent Carnazza of Niceville, FL; sisters, Connie Paris of Bloomfield, NJ and Joyce Norz of Neshanic, NJ. She is also survived by a son, August ?Buddy? Moschera and wife Katherine of Windsor, NJ and their children, Lisa and Nikolai Chernigovets, Susan and Greg Adams and daughters Alicia and Jessica, Michelle and Patrick Casey and sons Peter and Zachary, Kathleen Moschera and August ?Michael? Moschera and wife Cheryl. She is also survived by a daughter, Marilyn and husband Roy Idell of New Egypt, and their children, Jack Idell and Pamela and Jeffrey Powell as well as their children Jeffrey and Christina. Virginia is also survived by a granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Moschera, daughter of the late Jackie Moschera and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt, with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery in New Egypt. Calling hours will be on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:45 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
