Patrick G. Connolly, age 85, of Toms River died Friday, August 24 at Green Acres Manor in Toms River. Born in Ireland, he was a resident of Ridgefield Park, NJ before moving to Whiting and then Toms River. Patrick was a US Navy Veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He was a dispatcher for Honeywell Corp. in Long Island City, NY. Patrick was predeceased by his wife Madeline (nee Canivari) Connolly. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Donald Hickman of Toms River; a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Kathy Connolly of Penn Yan, NY; a sister-in-law, Teresa Bosland and husband David of Beachwood; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services for Patrick will be held on Friday, August 31 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
