Rose Green, age 83, of Cookstown died Thursday, May 3 at Buttonwood Hospital in Pemberton Twp. Born in Pointville, she was a lifetime area resident. Rose had previously worked at the George Hirsh Sewing Factory in New Egypt. Daughter of the late Mike & Julia Myroncuk and sister of the late Frank Myroncuk, Wanda Stone and Lena Layman, she is survived by her husband, Alfred Green; a sister, Ann Nesnadny of Tarrytown, NY; six sisters-in-law, Mary Reed of Pennsville, Dorothy Hopkins of Browns Mills, Rae Harker of Cream Ridge, Dolores Anderson of Browns Mills, Janet Lowther of Delran and Shirley Graffa of Fords; a brother-in-law, George Green of Cookstown; three nieces, Linda Kemerley and Donna Kucowski both of Jacobstown and Sally Rogie of Cookstown and a nephew, Larry Myroncuk of Jacobstown. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown.
