CHANGE OF VIEWING & FUNERAL SERVICE DATES ? Fred C. Ervin, Jr., age 61, of North Hanover Twp. died Tuesday, December 21 at his home. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Hamilton Twp. before moving to North Hanover in 1979. Fred was a retired carpenter for Trenton State College and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the VFW Post 3525 in Hamilton and a member of the American Legion and NRA. Fred was an avid kayaker and hunter. Son of the late Fred C. Ervin, Sr., he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lara and Troy Schimet of Apopka, FL; his mother, Dolores (nee Howell) Ervin of North Hanover Twp.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Hazel Ervin of Conway, SC and Mark and Vicki Ervin of Manchester, VT; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Alan Quesnel of New Egypt and Kathy and Eddie Roman of New Egypt; a granddaughter, Sloan Schimet; three step-daughters, Corrine, Michelle and Lori; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his ?Special Buddy? Steven. Calling hours for Fred will be held on Tuesday, December 28 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 29 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown.
