Geraldine M. West, age 76, of New Egypt passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born in Trenton, she was a resident there until the age of 18, then North Hanover Twp. and Yardville before moving to New Egypt in 1967. Geraldine was once employed by Stangel Pottery in Trenton before moving on to the North Hanover School District to work in food service. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl West; a step-daughter, Terry Bogdzwiecz; two brothers, Kenneth Walker and John Walker; a sister, Dorothy Libring; and a sister-in-law, Marion. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Daryl and Jennifer West of New Egypt; a step-daughter, Michele West of Mt. Laurel; 2 brothers, Fred Walker of Robbinsville and Robert Walker and wife Beverly of Wichita, KS; a sister, Laura Thompson of Warner Robins, GA; a sister-in-law, Madeline Reed of Jacobstown; a granddaughter, Jessica West of New Egypt; a grandson Justin Barber; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 12 pm at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Burial will follow in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
