Thelma E. (nee Foulks) Southard, age 90, of Hainesport died Saturday, July 3 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in New Egypt, she was a longtime resident of Hainesport. Thelma had worked at W.T. Grants in Mt. Holly and retired as a bookkeeper for the Burlington County Library in Mt. Holly. She was a member of the Mt. Holly Methodist Church. Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Amos Southard and by two brothers, Ivins and Donald Foulks. She is survived three brothers and a sister, Earl Foulks of New Egypt, C. Russell Foulks and wife Phyllis of Jacobstown, Shirley Fox of Mt. Holly and William Foulks of Philadelphia and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Thelma will be held on Wednesday, July 7 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow in Emleys Hill Cemetery in Cream Ridge. Calling hours will be on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
