Jeanne R. Roveda, age 53, of Cream Ridge died Tuesday, January 5 at RWJ University Hospital in Hamilton after a long battle with cancer. Born in Neptune, NJ, she was a resident of Cream Ridge since 1982 and formerly of Toms River. Jeanne was a Graduate of Freehold Twp. High School Class of 1974. She was the former owner with her husband of Gallantire in Cream Ridge and was the President/Owner of Century 21 B&R Reality in Cream Ridge since 1991. Jeanne was a past president of the Century 21 Brokers Association, a member of the Board of Realtors of Monmouth, Ocean and Mercer Counties, a member of the Broker Owners Association and the NJ National Realtors. She was a member of Main Street New Egypt and the Plumsted Business & Merchants Association. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, Robert E. and Jeannette (Patten) Blair and a brother, Jim Blair. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Roveda, Sr.; two sons, Rich A. Roveda, Jr. and wife Amanda of New Egypt and Jacob B. Roveda and wife Michelle of New Egypt; two granddaughters, Emily Kate Roveda and Adrienne Roveda; three brothers, Wayne Blair and wife Lorelei of Manchester Twp., Andy Blair and wife Sandy of Palm Bay, FL and Tom Blair of Freehold; a sister-in-law, June Blair of Sebring, FL; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews including two special nieces, Christine Lavender and husband Dave of Arizona and Lorraine Davis and husband Robert of Lincoln, NH. A memorial service for Jeanne will be held on Saturday, January 9 at 4:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
