Joan E. Summers, age 83, of Voorhees died Saturday, April 14 at Lakewood of Voorhees in Voorhees. Born in Hull, England she had been a resident of Voorhees for the past 6 years and formerly of Leisuretown. Wife of the late Bernard Summers, Joan is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Stanley Golas of Southport, NC; a grandson, Stephen Golas of Pasadena, CA; a step-grandson, Stan Golas III of Spring City, PA and a step-granddaughter, Theresa Tynan of Williamstown. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt. Interment will be the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home.
