Charles F. ?Chuck? Barker, age 41, of North Hanover Twp. died Friday, January 1 at home unexpectedly. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of North Hanover for the past 6 years and formerly of New Egypt. Chuck was employed by Upper Freehold Township in the road department. His hobbies included racing, hunting, fishing, playing poker and football. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his many childhood friends. Chuck was predeceased by his mother, Diane (Kirchoffer) Barker. He is survived by his wife, Lydia (Earley) Barker and a son Dylan of North Hanover; his parents, Charles F.E. and Wanda Barker of Forked River; a brother, Brian Barker of North Hanover; a step-brother, Gary Decker of Cream Ridge; a step-sister, Heather Barker of North Hanover; a brother-in-law, Donald Earley of New Egypt; a sister-in-law, Janice Miller of Wrightstown and most important his cats, Pooh, Roo and Louie. Funeral services for Chuck will be held on Thursday, January 7 at 10:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) with burial to follow in the Bordentown Cemetery in Bordentown. Calling hours will be on Wednesday evening, January 6 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
