Helen E. Grady, age 95, of Hamilton Twp. died Monday, July 20 at Arcadia Nursing & Rehab Center in Hamilton. Born in Abington, MA she was a resident of Hingham, MA until moving to live with her daughter in Jacobstown in 1988 and then to Arcadia in 2003. Helen was a graduate of Simons College in 1936 and was active in the Alumni Association. She served in the Navy during World War II as a Lieutenant JG and was in the first female graduating class for officers training for the Navy in 1942. Helen was a retired executive secretary for the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (SPNEA) in Boston. Helen is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and James Sadlier of Jacobstown; a niece, Judith O?Connor of Florida; a grand-niece, Mimi Uhlman and a grand-nephew, Scott Uhlman both of Massachusetts. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24 at 6:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Father Joseph Farrell officiating. Calling hours will also be on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment services will be held on Monday, July 27 at 9:30 AM at the chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown.
