Howard C. Grover, age 69, of Valdosta, GA died Sunday, October 19 after a long illness. Born in Allentown, NJ, he was a resident of Valdosta for the past 40 years. Howard had a great love for all animals and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Quitman. Son of the late Harley & Sadie Grover; he is survived by his wife, Lila Grover; a son and special friend, Howard ?Bo? Grover and Lisa Burham; a step-daughter, Camille Green and a brother, Warren Grover and wife Diana of Pemberton Twp., NJ. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 24 at 11:00 AM at the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery, 49 Jacobstown-Arneytown Road, Jacobstown, NJ 08562. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
