Aunt Betsy was the best! She and my daddy (her brother Claude) would talk every night at 7:00. He always looked forward to her phone calls. He would watch that clock like a hawk. She always sent him the best homemade jelly ever! She made jelly often and man was it good! Aunt Betsy was there for me day or night while I took care of my daddy. He had cancer. She was my rock. We talked. Cried. And laughed together. I would tell her the latest news here in Mississippi. She was a Mississippi woman at heart and talked so much of the good times here. I will miss her terribly but it gives me comfort to know she's having unimaginable joy right now in the Lord's loving presence. What a glorious time she is having right now! I can't wait to see her again! To my cousins Heidi, Sharon, Ruth Ann, Kathy, Pat, and Billy I love yall and I'm here for yall. The Lord will get you through this. Just remember that your momma is so happy right now! No pain or sadness but pure joy! Love hugs and prayers from Mississippi. Carmen
