Obituary of Sue Ann Glock
Please share a memory of Sue Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sue Ann Glock, age 80, longtime resident of Cream Ridge, passed away at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. She was born on September 14, 1943 in Florence, NJ to the late Claude and Hazel (Sitzler) Anderson.
Sue Ann was incredibly active and loved sports, including tennis, squash, and hiking; but her true passion was road bicycling with the Princeton Freewheelers, with whom she planned and led several bike rides. She also participated in the Anchor House charity ride for Runaways, cycling from Niagara Falls, Canada, to Quakerbridge Mall in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Sue Ann attended and graduated with an AS degree in Computer Science from Mercer County Community College. She went on to create her own successful computer consulting firm, Glock Computer Enterprises, in the late 1980s and 1990s.
She had a deep love for all animals but especially adored her Jack Russells: Sunny and Dutch and her Labradoodle Maggie, and her Goldendoodle Clay.
For all who knew her, Sue Ann had an incredible sense of humor and a knack for finding the positive in every situation, no matter how hard or difficult. She never got down on herself or those around her.
Sue Ann is survived by her husband of sixty years, Thomas L. Glock; son Thomas L. Glock Jr.; daughter Lisa Ann Glock; and Lisa's significant other, Louis Zaniroli; daughter-in-law Kimberly Glock and grandchildren Eric and Lauren Glock. She is also survived by sisters Hazel Rogers and Sandy Young; brother Edward Anderson; and in-laws Marjorie Rogers Anderson, Derene Anderson, Ronald Rogers and Joseph Young. Sue Ann was dearly loved by her sister-in-law Marie Anderson, and her brothers Norman Anderson, Claude Anderson Jr., and Paul Anderson who predeceased her.
She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. We will always carry her memory with us forever.
