Brian D. Walton, age 67, of North Hanover, NJ., previously from Springfield Township, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 16th, 2023 at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell. Brian worked for Verizon for 35 years and later drove a school bus for North Hanover Township for the last 11 years. He graduated from Northern Burlington High School in 1974 and spent a year at Glassboro State College. He dedicated much of his time to coaching youth sports for both of his son's teams. When he wasn't coaching, you would find him working on the family farm. Brian was a diehard Flyers and Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed going to games with his sons. Everyone who knew him knows that he was able to make anyone smile. Brian is predeceased by his sons Richard Paul Walton and Timothy Croshaw Walton; his father Richard Walton; his brother Rick Walton of Eastampton, NJ and his brother in law Charles Donovan of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; his father in law Russel Paul Croshaw and mother in law Doris Croshaw (Fort). He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cynthia Walton (Croshaw). Brian is also survived by his mother, Gladys Walton (Stout) of Springfield Township; his son, Caleb Walton and his wife Gina (Guarino) of Florence, NJ and his beloved granddaughter Olivia Walton. He is also survived by his sister Lynda Donovan (Walton) of Egg Harbor Township and his brother Theodore Walton of Ewing; his sister in law Tina Walton (McCormick) of Eastampton, and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. He leaves behind many beloved close friends. Funeral services for Brian will be held on Tuesday, November 21 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main St, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Calling hours will be on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Brian's name to the Popcorn Park Zoo located in Forked River, NJ.
