Edward J. Quigley, age 73, longtime area resident of Southampton, formerly of Fort Dix, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 in Toms River. He was born on October 4, 1949 in Paterson, NJ to the late Ralph and Anne (nee Cheavers) Quigley. Edward proudly served in the United States Army as a Master Sergeant and in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant. He enjoyed photography, especially photographing lighthouses. Edward loved anything about the military, building tank models, and was a Star Trek fan. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, and friend that will be deeply missed. Edward is predeceased by his wife, Madeline Quigley; his parents, Ralph and Anne Quigley; his two brothers and sister-in-law, Jim and Sharon Quigley, and Ralph Quigley; and his niece, Kelly Quigley. He leaves behind his son, Ralph Quigley and wife Ashley; three grandchildren, Roman, Troy, Keelie; a niece, Michelle Quigley; first wife Marta Cimillo; and longtime close friends, Ralph and Susan Hritz. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Ed on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 1 PM at BGWCD Veteran Memorial Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Please arrive at the cemetery at 12:45 PM. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, NJ.
