She was born on August 24, 1949 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. She came to the US with her mother when she was just 9 years old. During her life Wendy worked in a wide range of jobs. During their marriage Wendy and her husband travelled extensively around the world visiting many places in the US and countries such as South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Japan, New Zealand and Argentina, and many other countries in Europe. The attached photo shows Wendy at a Chimpanzee refuge in northern Zambia near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she and her husband volunteered to care for Chimpanzees in September 2013. She also volunteered in Toms River’s court system, and the Municipal Alliance of New Egypt. Wendy was a loving wife, and friend that will be deeply missed.
