Edeltraud “Ellen” Russell, age 83, of Westampton passed away Thursday, March 30 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Gries, Germany she was a resident of Wrightstown before moving to Westampton 7 years ago to live with her family. Ellen enjoyed going to services at the McGuire AFB Chapel and swimming at the Base pool. She also liked traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. Ellen was predeceased by her parents, Ludwig and Anna Hoffmann and her beloved husband, Donald B. Russell and a son, Donald W. Russell, Sr. She is survived by two sons, John Russell and Steven Russell both of Westampton; two grandchildren, Christina Plunkett and husband Robert and Donald Russell, Jr. and three great grandchildren, Robert Plunkett, Jr., Chase Plunkett and Gaia Rose Russell. Funeral services for Ellen will be private at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt, NJ (www.TilghmanFH.com).
