Kenneth D. Inman, age 84, longtime area resident of North Hanover, formerly of Bordentown, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills. He was born in Trenton, NJ on February 21, 1939 to the late Abram and Margie Inman.
Ken served four years in the United States Navy. He was stationed on the Admiral’s Staff Commander Carrier Division Six, and in the last years of service he was in charge of the navigation division. Ken retired as District Manager (#4) from the New Jersey State Lottery Commission. Ken served as Mayor Emeritus of North Hanover Township where he proudly served the people of North Hanover Twp on the township committee from 1993-2000.
Ken enjoyed going boating, golfing, and traveling with his wife Irene. He was a man who was loved by his family, his friends, and his co-workers. He had a great sense of humor and a smile that could melt your heart. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend that will be deeply missed.
Ken is predeceased by his son, Chad Inman; and by his parents, Abram and Margie Inman, and his brother, Don Inman. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years, Irene (nee Walczak) of North Hanover; his son, Daryl Inman and wife Holly of Arizona, Sherry Roga and husband Stephen of Hamilton, and Dina Swartz of Florida; his six grandchildren, Jacob Inman, Chloe and Ruby Roga, Colby, Devon, and Ava Swartz; and his brother, Barry Inman of Florida.
Funeral Services for Ken are being held privately at the respect of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken’s name to the Visitation Home located at P.O.
