Patricia B. Sims, age 65, of Browns Mills died Wednesday, March 12 at Burlington Woods in Burlington Twp. Born in Berea, KY to Beatrice Miller and Charles Washington; sister to Velma McCants, Pamela Caldwell, Charles Washington, Demarcia Washington, Jerome Washington, Andre Miller and Myron Miller. She later moved to New Jersey, where she married her husband, Melvin Sims, Jr. Along with her husband, she leaves behind two step-daughters, Emma Sims of Maple Shade and Jannette Vennie of Browns Mills, a step-son, Roger Sims of Alabama and many more relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 17 at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Rev. William Walker, officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Monday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
