Richard Search, age 65, died September 8, 2022, with his wife and daughters by his side at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell . Richard was born on July 21, 1957 to James and Dorothy (Goff) Search and was a life long Cream Ridge/New Egypt resident. Richard was a devoted husband of almost 38 years to Debra (Debbie) Search. Richard graduated from Allentown High School and was a varsity wrestler, proud member of the 4H and president of the FFA. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved when he would race at East Windsor Speedway and enjoyed going camping. He loved preparing and planting his garden every spring and cutting wood every fall. Most importantly, he was a family man. He loved his three grandbabies more than he could ever put into words and he would do anything they asked their Pop-oy to do. Richard loved attending and watching any sporting event with his girls Kelle and Jennifer and his son-in-law Kyle, he especially enjoyed Sunday Funday while watching football with his family. Richard would take advantage of any opportunity to go on vacation with his family, especially camping in Myrtle Beach, SC, and trips to Walt Disney World. Richard met the love of his life in 1981 when they worked together doing veterinary research at Schering-Plough. He also worked for Fort Dodge Animal Health for 23 years and then moved on to continue to work at Bristol Myers Squibb in their tech service and veterinary service groups. Throughout his career Richard made many lifelong friends that he always cherished. He was always known to put a smile on people's faces with his charismatic personality and happy disposition. Richard is survived by his wife, Debbie (Kupiec) Search of New Egypt; Daughters Kelle (Kyle) Rhodes and Jennifer Search of New Egypt; granddaughters Brynn, Parker and Maggie Rhodes; siblings Bill (JoAnn) Search, Jimmy (Leslie) Search, Molly Lou Jackson, and Darlene (Richie) Young, as well as his sister-in-law Beth Kupiec. Richard was loved by his nieces and nephews, Brett (Tina) Search, Scott (Joely) Jackson, Jason (Matt) Search, Amy (Bob) Forshee, Mick (Lori) Search, Melissa (Leigh) Powell, Johnny (Jess) Kupiec III, Danielle (Chris) Curnow, Shannon (Jeremy) Johnson, Jimmy (Amy) Search, Dean (Allie) Search, and Luke (Emily) Search. He was also loved by many close friends that he made throughout his life. Richard is predeceased by his father and mother James and Dorothy (Goff) Search and brother-in-law John Kupiec Jr. A memorial service for Richard will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 4pm-8pm at New Egypt United Methodist Church-Atkinson Hall, 9 Fort Avenue, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with a service at 7pm.
