Theodore J. “Ted” Adamovich, age 90, longtime area resident of Toms River, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at home. He was born on February 3, 1932 in Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Stephen and Helen (nee Delman) Adamovich. Ted worked as an injection mold operator for 42 years at Delco Remy located in New Brunswick. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Ted enjoyed going fishing and hunting. Most importantly he was proud to be a grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend that will be deeply missed. Ted is predeceased by his beloved wife Marie Adamovich; his parents, Stephen and Helen Adamovich; and his brother Thomas Adamovich. He leaves behind his two sons, Tim Adamovich and his wife Tina of New Egypt, and Mark Adamovich and his wife Sherry of North Brunswick; his two grandchildren, Tara Wilson and her husband Brian, and Sarah Kraemer and her husband Brian; his two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Harper Wilson; his brother Steve Adamovich of Reading, PA; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Ted will take place Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Calling hours will take place Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at BGWCD Veteran Memorial Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
