Jerome F. “Jake” Wasilewski, age 73, resident of Hamilton, formerly of Bayonne and New Egypt, passed away at Robert Wood University Hospital in Hamilton on Thursday, October 28, 2021. He was born on March 3, 1948 in Bayonne, NJ to the late Peter and Eva (nee Zaremski) Wasilewski. Jake worked as a custodian for Plumsted Township School District. He enjoyed going crabbing, going to the casinos, and watching the news on TV. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend that will be deeply missed. Jake is predeceased by his beloved wife, Josephine F. Wasilewski; his father, Peter Wasilewski; his mother and step-father, Eva and Eugene Zaremski; and by his two sisters, Catherine Cranga, and Ava Patrovich. He leaves behind his daughter, Jessica Wasilewski and fiancé Diego Zacarias; his grandson, Diego Zacarias, Jr.; and his eight brothers, Anthony Wasilewski and wife Mary, Peter Wasilewski, John Wasilewski and wife Maureen, Keith Wasilewski and wife Lisa, David Wasilewski and wife Dawn, Paul Wasilewski and wife Alma, Kevin Wasilewski and wife Trudy, and Gary Wasilewski and wife Patty.
