Cindy L. Burla (nee Laird), age 67, longtime resident of New Egypt, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at home. She was born on August 9, 1954 in Trenton to the late Alexander and Sophie (nee Dombroski) Laird. Cindy attended Columbus Baptist Church located in Columbus. She liked to watch General Hospital. Cindy enjoyed cooking, but most importantly she loved animals. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend that will be deeply missed. Cindy is predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Sophie Laird. She leaves behind her brother, Joseph LaRocca and wife Valerie of New Egypt, NJ; her sister, Cecelia Asprocolas and husband James of Finesville, NJ; many nieces and nephews; and her longtime friend, Jeff Wright of New Egypt, NJ. Funeral services for Cindy are being held privately at the convenience of the family with a memorial service being held at a later date. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
