David G. Sanders, age 65, of Cream Ridge died Tuesday, February 12 at his residence. Born in Havre De Grace, MD, he previously lived in Baltimore before moving to Cream Ridge 22 years ago. David had been employed as an auto mechanic for Crossroads Chevrolet in New Egypt. He was an Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 455 in New Egypt. David was an avid fisherman and loved going out in the bay. Son of the late Clarion and Maye Sanders and brother of the late John Sanders, he is survived by his wife, Diane (nee Grant) Sanders; three daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and John Capraro of Asbury, NJ, Daneen and Brian Bancewicz of Essex, MD and Deana and George Engle of Florence, NJ and four grandchildren, David, Stephanie, Nicholas and Nathan. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Rev. William Walker, officiating. Burial will follow in Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
