Doris C. Brown, age 92, of Cream Ridge passed away Thursday, May 13 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. Born in Allentown to the late Joseph and Edith (Emley) Pullen, she was a lifetime area resident. Doris was employed as a school bus driver for the New Egypt Schools for 25 years. She also loved her weekly Bingo games at the American Legion and spending time with her family. Doris was a loving, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and aunt who will be missed by all. Doris was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Edith Pullen, her husband, Charles Brown and by her siblings, Warren, Harry, Harold, Marion and Donald Pullen and Ruth Weingart. She is survived by a son, Charles R. “Chuck” Brown, Jr. and wife Gwen of Weeki Wachee, FL; two daughters, Donna Bell and husband Bob of Wrightstown and Alice Wiggins and husband Al of Hamilton; a brother Dean Pullen and wife Charlotte of New Egypt; three grandchildren, John Barber, Jennifer Barber and Charles Brown III; four great grandchildren, Ashlee, Aiden and Justin Barber and Russell Brown; a great-great grandson, Callum Barber and several nieces and nephews. Services for Doris will be private at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt (www.TilghmanFH.com).
