EMMA COTTRELL, age 92, died January 31, 2021 at The Manor in Freehold. Emma resided in Freehold Township for over 70 years and later moved to Jensens Retirement Community in Cream Ridge. In her last years she was a resident of The Manor at CentraState, Freehold Township, where she made many friends and enjoyed many activities. She worked as a housekeeper all of her life. Emma was predeceased by her husband John Cottrell, mother Nettie Cramer, brother Herman Cramer and sister Esther Sloan. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Cottrell Kiernan (James Kiernan) of Cream Ridge, estranged son Thomas Cottrell (Rosemary Smith Cottrell) of Virginia; four grandchildren James Kiernan (Kelly Gilligan Kiernan) of Bayville, Patricia Kiernan (Thomas Nunnery) of Wrightstown, Kandice Kiernan of Cream Ridge and estranged grandson Thomas Cottrell (Tammy Cottrell) of Cream Ridge and seven great grandchildren. Emma is also survived by a loving friend Linda Dancer Condon of Freehold. Funeral services for Emma will be private at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt, NJ.
