Robert L. Hutson, age 81, of Wrightstown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills. He was born in Doddridge County, West Virginia to the late Clifford and Mary Hutson on February 22, 1939. Robert worked as a self-employed truck driver for many years. He was a member of the New Egypt Elks and was a longtime area resident. Robert was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed. Robert is predeceased by his parents; by his adored wife, Betty; by six of his children, Douglas Hutson, Michael Hutson, Lisa Porter, Laurie Hutson, David Hutson and Jeffrey Hutson; and by his granddaughter Jennifer Hutson. He leaves behind two children, Robert Hutson and wife Eva of Cookstown and Susan Scott of New Egypt; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother Dale Hutson and wife Caroline of Melbourne, FL; significant other Loretta Rescigno; along with several other extended family members and dear friends. Services for Robert are being held private at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt NJ.
