Richard J. Johnson, Jr., age 32, a lifelong area resident, passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2020 in Upper Freehold. He was born on March 30, 1988 to Karen and Richard Johnson in Voorhees, New Jersey. Junior enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also loved trying all different kinds of food and cuisines. Among his other hobbies, he enjoyed science, astronomy and walking. Junior was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Junior is predeceased by his grandparents and by his brother Shawn Johnson. He leaves behind his mother, Karen Johnson (nee McCall) and husband Thomas Gallucci of Manchester; his father, Richard J. Johnson, Sr. “Dickie” and wife Dawna of Maryland; his sister Kelley Johnson of California; his half-sister Kristie Sorochiello and husband Allen of Pennsylvania; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services for Junior are being held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at the Jacobstown Cemetery, Jacobstown, New Jersey.
