Mary L. Smith, age 57, long time resident of Cookstown, formally from Chesterfield, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020. She was born in Trenton, on November 17, 1962 to the late Edward and Isabelle Zwolinski. Mary worked at The State of New Jersey Department of Human Services in the Guardianship office. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and reading. Mary was a member of the Chesterfield PTA, and was also a member of Crosswicks Community Center. She had a great sense of humor, very quick-witted, and never sugar coated things. It was either her way or the highway. Mary loved her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that will be deeply missed. Mary is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Isabelle (nee Hornor) Zwolinski. She leaves behind three children, Rick Smith and girlfriend Dina Alegria and daughter Ava of Cookstown, James Smith and wife Sarah of North Carolina, and Kelly Smith of New York; her seven siblings, Edward Zwolinski Jr. of North Hanover, Jean Golden and Joe Eltink of Cookstown, Catherine Gancarz and husband Robert of North Hanover, Janet Hand and husband Norman of North Hanover, David Zwolinski and wife Doreen of Levittown, PA, Loretta Walsh and husband Michael of Jackson, and Howard Zwolinski of Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
