On Friday, April 17, 2020 Ron John Koczon, 46, of New Egypt, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Ron John was born on September 22, 1973 in Trenton, NJ to his loving parents Ron and Sue Koczon. On October 27, 2001 he married the love of his life, Diane Koczon. He was a loving husband to Diane and a fantastic father to his 2 beautiful children, Parker Koczon, age 13 and Kaleigh Koczon, age 9.
He was known for his infectious smile, contagious laugh, amazing personality and compassionate spirit. His soul will never be forgotten, he was beautiful inside and out. During his entire life he enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and going to the beach with his family and friends.
For 20 years, he had a passion for dirt car racing starting at East Windsor Speedway and retiring his racing career at New Egypt Speedway to enjoy his family and boat. He was always surrounded by family and friends. His love for people does not go uncounted. He touched many lives and would always take the time to speak to people no matter what. He always made people feel important. This is one of the many reasons why he was known as “The New Egypt Nice Guy.”
His career started at the early age of 3 working for the family business with his father in Heating and Air Conditioning. Many were blessed to learn valuable lessons from him during his time here. He could fix anything and would take the time to make it perfect.
If you didn’t know Ron John personally, you knew of him. He knew everyone. He was loved dearly by his friends. It goes without saying that his close friends were his family and not just friends. There never was a story where Ron John wasn’t mentioned and never a time the story didn’t end without a good laugh.
A strong will to survive is an understatement. His passion for life was extraordinary. He fought a major battle for many years and never gave up. Even at his worst, he always found the will to show his radiant smile. He was a great inspiration to all.
