My dear Anne, she was my Godmother. As a little girl, I had sleep overs with Patty, always loved going to their house to play. When our family moved to Wisconsin, our families kept in touch throughout the years. Anne, Jim and Patty coming to visit. When visiting with Anne, she always made you feel loved, important and cared for. Visiting her house with my sister 15 years ago- it was like going home. The years and the miles disappeared and we were had a piece of our heart again. Anne was sassy, independent, with such a big heart. She suffered several horrible losses in her life, and still smiled and gave great hugs. She will be forever with me, tucked close in my heart.

There is an absence in my heart for the loss of my wonderful, loving and forever caring sister. As well as filling her own life with her immediate family, she always made time to share and care for her sisters, brothers and most of all her mother. I will miss her very much. Anne was a generous, gracious and cheerful woman. I got to know her just a little in the last years of her life through visits to her home with one of the deacons from the Plumsted Presbyterian Church. I am amazed and inspired by her faithfulness and dedication that reached thousands of people through her "pillow ministry." I'm thankful that for Anne death is past and pain ended, and that she has now entered the joy God has prepared.
