Obituary of Esther M. Buckley
Esther M. Buckley, age 62, of Browns Mills and formerly of Cookstown, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell. She was born in Mount Holly to the late Stanley and Lillian Green on November 12, 1956. Esther worked for several years at the Buttonwood/ Aspen Hills Healthcare Center as a housekeeper until her partial retirement a few years ago. She enjoyed being around people and keeping busy that a full retirement wasn’t for her. Esther enjoyed doing puzzles and taking trips to the beach. The beach was her escape and her happy place. Most importantly, Esther lived for her family. She loved nothing more than being with her children and her granddaughter. Esther was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.
Esther is predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Lillian Green (nee Southard); by her husband Albert Buckley; and by her grandson Anthony Buckley.
She leaves behind her two sons, Albert Buckley, Jr. and wife Nicole of Cookstown and Joseph Buckley and wife Monica of Brick; her daughter Laura Buckley of Browns Mills; her granddaughter Alyssa Buckley of Cookstown; siblings, Gloria, Christine, Terry, Richard, Russell and John; along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service for Esther will be held at a later date. Please check back for updated times and location information.
