There are many memories of Marie that evolve work and some that are just of conversations between the two of us. She gave me advice on everything. I will miss this great little ball of fire.
Worked with Marie on 2L, DHLC for many years. She was a wonderful mentor and colleague. Many prayers for her as she ventures home to her heavenly family.

Dear Hammond family:
I wish to convey my sincerest condolences to your entire family. Losing a loved one in death is one of the hardest things that anyone will ever have to deal with. There is a great hope held out to us for the future because God promises to bring those we lost back to life by means of a resurrection to a paradise earth, where sickness and death will be no more. I hope this brief message will bring you a measure of comfort in this difficult time.
To the Hammond family...my sincere condolences. I loved working with Marie in the 80's on the 2 Lesser unit. I enjoyed her company when she came thru outpatients for her check ups. She will be missed. Loved her fiestiness.
Marie was a loved member of our family. She and Nancy were our other aunts and were loved as such. Shirley is missing her other sister. She had a special bond with my grandson Joey as she was his Mom- Mom Marie. If I bought Aunt Janet anything Elvis he insisted I buy one for Marie. She is truly loved by the Anderson family. Janet and Marie are playing Yatzee together. Love to you all.
Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake. Every memory left on the online obituary will be automatically included in this book.
