Obituary of Jean M. Radogna
The family of Jean M. (O'Malley) Radogna, sadly announce her passing on Tuesday, September 4 at the age of 87. Jean is now reunited with her beloved husband of 60 years William J. Radogna.
Jean was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Florence (Godfrey) O’Malley. She resided in East Brunswick, NJ for 50 years before moving to New Egypt to live with her daughter. Jean was a parishioner at the Church of the Assumption. Traveling was a passion; her favorite destinations being Longboat Key, FL., Ireland and California. Jean enjoyed gardening, trips to Atlantic City and weekly meetings with her friends, the "Bag Ladies". She was a member and actively involved with the East Brunswick Elks Ladies Auxiliary and the East Brunswick Chapter of AARP. Jean enjoyed league bowling, crafting and playing cards. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.
Jean is also predeceased by her two brothers, Thomas O’Malley and Donald O’Malley. She is survived by her son, William J. Radogna, Jr. and wife Diana of Cream Ridge; her daughter, Suzanne Sutton and her husband, Robert of New Egypt; her sister, Nancy Sharp and husband Fred of Millville; a sister-in-law, Barbara O'Malley of Glenside, Pa; s sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anthony and Betty Radogna of Clermont, FL; her grandchildren, Jill (Sutton) Butcher and husband Doug, Sarah Sutton, Capt. Lance Sutton USMC and Lauren Sutton as well as her granddogs, Bella and Kenzi.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jean will be held on Tuesday, September 11 at 11:30 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 28 Monmouth Road (Route 537), Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Following Mass, a committal service for Jean, along with Military Honors committal for her husband, William, will be held at the BGWCD Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.
